Millimeter-wave RF specialist HJWAVE (CEO Taehwan Yoo) announced that it will participate in MWC 2026 (Mobile World Congress 2026), the world’s largest mobile exhibition to be held in Barcelona, Spain. Through its participation in MWC, the company declared its official entry into global technology competition and overseas markets.

At the exhibition, HJWAVE will unveil its portfolio of millimeter-wave (30–300 GHz) RF products, including a 77GHz 3D waveguide antenna for autonomous driving radar. The product is a solution applicable to autonomous driving radar sensors.

In the high-frequency bands required for autonomous driving radar, technical challenges such as signal loss, inter-channel interference, and performance degradation during multi-channel expansion commonly arise. HJWAVE explained that its key differentiator lies in resolving these issues from the structural design stage.

A company official stated, “The millimeter-wave domain presents a very high technological barrier between theoretical design and real-world mass production.” The official added, “The products showcased at this exhibition are not simple prototype models, but fully commercial product lines developed with mass production in mind.”

The company further noted that it independently carries out the entire process based on proprietary technologies, including millimeter-wave RF design, 3D waveguide design, electromagnetic simulation, beam pattern optimization, and manufacturing process implementation. “Beyond securing proprietary technologies, we have achieved product competitiveness at a level ready for immediate mass production by meeting international reliability standards,” the company said.

HJWAVE plans to sequentially launch millimeter-wave band products applicable to the defense and telecommunications sectors in line with its commercialization roadmap. Currently, the company is focusing its capabilities on the autonomous driving radar sector, aligning with market demand and customer requirements, while diversifying its customer base and product portfolio.

Taehwan Yoo, CEO of HJWAVE, commented, “Our participation in MWC 2026 goes beyond simply exhibiting; it marks the moment we announce to the global market that HJWAVE has leapt forward as an RF deep-tech company.” He added, “We will further strengthen our R&D-driven structure and expand overseas marketing capabilities to accelerate our global expansion, starting with Europe.”
