HJ WAVE Selected for the 19th Korea Excellent Patent Award 2025 in the Electronics/IT Sector

 


HJ WAVE (CEO: Tae-Hwan Yoo), a Physical AI–based RF technology specialist, has been selected as a winner in the Electronics/IT category at the 19th Korea Excellent Patent Award 2025.


The Korea Excellent Patent Award recognizes companies with outstanding patents based on a comprehensive evaluation of technological originality, industrial applicability, and stability of intellectual property rights. The award has played a key role in highlighting achievements that contribute to strengthening Korea’s technological competitiveness. Through this recognition, HJ WAVE has officially been acknowledged for the technical maturity and industrial value of its patented technologies.


HJ WAVE has continuously developed core technologies centered on millimeter-wave (mmWave) RF solutions applicable to next-generation mobility fields, including autonomous driving, ADAS, and vehicle safety systems. In particular, the awarded patent was highly evaluated for its mass-production readiness and practical applicability in real-world environments.


An official from HJ WAVE stated, “This recognition demonstrates that HJ WAVE’s technology goes beyond research achievements and represents patented innovations with real industrial competitiveness. We will continue to enhance our patent-based technologies and accelerate commercialization to strengthen our competitiveness in the global market.”

HJWAVE Registers Millimeter-Wave Antenna Patent in the U.S.

  HJWAVE, a company specializing in millimeter-wave (30–300GHz) RF technology, announced that it has registered a U.S. patent for an antenna technology that can be immediately applied to radar systems for autonomous vehicles operating in the millimeter-wave frequency band.
