HJWAVE Declares ESG and Ethical Management
'Leaping Forward as a Transparent and Trusted Company'
HJWAVE, a Physical AI RF specialist led by CEO Yoo Tae-Hwan, has announced its commitment to strengthening ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and ethical management practices as part of building a sustainable management framework.
The company recently held a declaration ceremony at its headquarters, unveiling key initiatives that include creating a safe working environment, establishing ethical management and internal regulations, preventing corruption, abuse of authority, and unfair trade practices, as well as reinforcing internal controls.
HJWAVE has also launched an ESG Committee, appointing CFO Lee Jun-Hee as its chair. To further enhance its compliance management system, the company signed agreements with external law, labor, and accounting firms to ensure comprehensive oversight in legal, accounting, and labor matters. According to the company, CFO Lee is a certified public accountant with extensive expertise in finance and compliance, having served as an investigator in the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office’s Anti-Corruption Division and as CFO of a KOSDAQ-listed company.
CFO Lee stated, “Through an ESG management framework that integrates internal regulations with external advisory support, we will grow into a company trusted by employees, customers, and investors alike. SMEs are fully capable of practicing ESG and ethical management, and we will pursue sustainable growth through these efforts.”
CEO Yoo Tae-Hwan added, “HJWAVE’s consolidated revenue from its three business sites in Pangyo, Yongin, and Ansan has grown to approximately KRW 40 billion, and is expected to reach KRW 60 billion next year. With this declaration, we will make ESG and ethical management central to our corporate culture. Beyond technological innovation in the Physical AI RF field, we will also grow as a company that fulfills its social responsibilities.”
Meanwhile, HJWAVE is actively pursuing practical initiatives such as hiring persons with disabilities, creating youth employment opportunities, and fostering mutual growth with the local community.
