HJWAVE launches a Pencil Beam Antenna applicable to the defense industry, low Earth orbit satellites, and mobile communications
Millimeter-wave Pencil Beam Antenna achieving a 7GHz bandwidth (57~64GHz), a beam width of 6 degrees, and a gain of 33dBi <60GHz Pencil Beam Antenna released by HJWAVE> Millimeter-wave (mmWAVE, 30~300GHz) specialist HJWAVE (CEO Tae-Hwan Yoo) announced on the 19th that it has launched a ‘Pencil Beam Antenna’ with a beam width of within 6 degrees (horizontal & vertical) at a frequency of 60GHz. This product features a waveguide slot array composed of 256 element devices arranged in three layers, providing a wide bandwidth of 7GHz from 57GHz to 64GHz. It has a gain of 33dBi and a size of 7.5×7.5cm. Additionally, four slots are implemented in a 2×2 sub-array configuration, with these sub-arrays arranged in vertical and horizontal directions with 8 units each, resulting in a 16×16 configuration of 256 slot arrays. This design allows the antenna to operate with a beam width of 6 degrees in both vertical and horizontal directions, functioning as a Pencil Beam Antenna. An HJWAV...
